Our Story
Amanda Phillips is a lifelong resident of Wilson County and a proud homeschool graduate. With over a decade of experience studying art, she has developed a deep appreciation for both technique and art history. During her sophomore year of college, Amanda had the incredible opportunity to study art history abroad in Italy—a formative experience that sparked a passion for travel and cultural exploration. Since then, she has continued her artistic journey through visits to London, Paris, and Ireland, immersing herself in some of the world’s most iconic art.
Amanda holds a minor in Visual Arts and has continued to expand her skills through ongoing coursework and personal study. Her passion lies in helping others grow creatively and achieve their artistic goals through encouragement, knowledge, and hands-on experience.

Ages PreK to Adults
Studio Lessons
Welcome to our art studio in Castalian Springs, just 15 minutes Gallatin and Lebanon, TN! We specialize in providing a tailored art experience for students of many ages, from PreK to adults. Our semi-private lessons focus on teaching technique and foundational art principles, while nurturing each’s individual interests. For younger students, we offer engaging group projects that build creative confidence, while older students enjoy the freedom to explore their passions in a supportive group setting. Whether it's painting, sketching, or mixed media, we're here to inspire your artistic journey!
Pop Up Events
Keep an eye out for pop up events in the Wilson County area. We love to provide themed paint events like Taylor Swift Paint and Sip, Paint your thrifted picture, and much more! We look to do these once a month at Wild Color Studios or AP Studio and are so excited for our future themed events. Follow us on social media to ensure you don't miss it!
Commission Work
Looking for a special and unique piece for your home or workplace, reaching out to a local artist is such a great way to get what you want! Whether that’s a painting for over your fireplace or a beautiful mural, I have loved sharing my talent to create the perfect piece for some wonderful people. Call, text, or email for a quote.
Oil Painting
Join us for our semi-private oil painting classes in Lebanon and Castalian Springs every Monday and Thursday! In these sessions, each student works on their own unique projects, inspired by personal interests and at their own pace. I tailor my teaching approach to your individual personality, starting with a foundational drawing lesson. Feel free to call, text, or email us to sign up and unleash your creativity!
Class Tutorials
For all homeschoolers 5th to High School students, I provide a drawing and mixed media class. These classes are provided through Eagle Academy and Cornerstone Christian Academy in Wilson County. Must be enrolled at the tutorial to join.

I’m a wife and a mother to my amazing daughter and son. I’ve been married to my best friend since we were just 19 years old. I put myself through college while working a full-time job for the State of Tennessee, and four years ago, I took a leap of faith to pursue art as a full-time career. God has blessed that journey more than I could have ever imagined, and I’m so grateful to now support my community in a way that also allows for the best work-life balance. Taking one of my classes or purchasing a piece of my art blesses my little family and supports us more than you could ever know.
